Bodie Awarded Grand Prize in International Songwriting Competition

Bodie, along with co-writers Sajan Nauiyal and Wes Strunk, earned the grand prize across all genres in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) for his hit song “whisper and the wind.”

This is the first time in ISC’s 23-year history that the grand prize was awarded to an artist in the Christian music genre. The song received the top placement of over 14,000 submissions from 112 countries.

Bodie was a runner-up on NBC’s The Voice in 2022 and has since released his debut EP, Happy to Be Here, in 2024. “Whisper and the wind” rose to #36 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart.

In the Christian category, Terrian was awarded first place for “No Body,” Josh Wilson was awarded second place for “Better” and Jessej was awarded third place for “Then It Starts To Rain.”
